We're taking a day to reflect on the past, but we're looking forward to a brighter future.
The Town of Okotoks is observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, a day marked by the Government of Canada in 2021 to recognize and reflect on the history and ongoing effects of Residential Schools. While not a statutory holiday in Alberta, the Town acknowledges this day to promote reconciliation and understanding.
